Explain the use of HTML Headings
Explain the use of HTML Headings.
I completed my post-graduation in 2013 in the engineering field. Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors often get the credit for innovations that advance the human condition, but it is engineers who are instrumental in making those innovations available to the world. I love pet animals such as dogs, cats, etc.

HTML headings are used to define the structure and hierarchy of a document's content. They provide a way to organize and outline the content by indicating different levels of importance or sections within the document. HTML headings are represented by the
<h1>to<h6>tags, where<h1>represents the highest level of importance, and<h6>represents the lowest level.Uses of HTML headings
Here's how HTML headings are typically used,
Main Heading (<h1>)
The
<h1>heading is used to define the main title or heading of the entire document. It should represent the overall theme or subject of the content and is typically the largest and most prominent heading on the page. There should ideally be only one<h1>heading per document.Subheadings (<h2 to <h6>)
Subsequent headings, from
<h2>to<h6>, are used to define subsections or subtopics within the document. These headings indicate a decreasing level of importance, with<h2>being the second most important,<h3>being less important than<h2>, and so on.Example-
